    "textoCompleto" => "<span class="elsevierStyleSections"><p id="par0005" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Lymphomas are frequently observed in the head and neck compartment&#44; however they rarely involve the external ear&#46;</p><p id="par0010" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">A 41 year old unemployed male was referred to the ENT department due to a slow growing&#44; non-tender mass in the right concha cymba&#46; He had Burkkit Lymphoma at 27 years old&#44; cured by quimiorradition and already discharged from the Heamatology Clinic&#44; with no other remarkable antecedents&#46;</p><p id="par0015" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The ENT physical examination was unremarkable&#44; except for a 2<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>cm<span class="elsevierStyleSup">2</span> reddish&#44; nontender&#44; round&#44; smooth and elastic mass on the right concha cymba &#40;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#fig0005">Fig&#46; 1</a>&#41;&#46;</p><elsevierMultimedia ident="fig0005"></elsevierMultimedia><p id="par0020" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">A CT scan showed absence of an infiltrative lesion with light contrast enhancement &#40;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#fig0005">Fig&#46; 1</a>&#41;&#46; Due to the uncertainty of the lesion&#39;s nature we decided for surgical excision biopsy&#44; including the lesion and covering skin with cartilage sparing&#46; The surgical defect was reconstructed with a postauricular skin flap &#40;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#fig0010">Fig&#46; 2</a>&#41;&#46; The frozen section histopathology exam revealed a capsulated lesion with no carcinoma involvement&#46;</p><elsevierMultimedia ident="fig0010"></elsevierMultimedia><p id="par0025" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The definitive histologic examination of the mass revealed a follicular lymphoma with an immune-proliferative activity &#40;Ki-67 index&#41; of 30&#37;&#46; Immunoperoxidase staining of the atypical cells was positive for CD20&#44; bcl2&#44; bcl6&#44; CD10 and CD23 and negative for CD3 and CD5&#46;</p><p id="par0030" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The patient was admitted to the Haematology Clinic&#46; Clinical staging was completed and resulted negative for other lymphoma&#39;s localization&#46; No adjuvant treatments were recommended&#46;</p><p id="par0035" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">At 6 months follow-up evaluation confirms stable complete remission and well implemented flap with good aesthetic outcome &#40;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#fig0015">Fig&#46; 3</a>&#41;&#46;</p><elsevierMultimedia ident="fig0015"></elsevierMultimedia></span>"
