Article information
The schwannoma is the most common peripheral nerve sheath tumor. It presents in both men and women aged 20 to 50 years, and consists exclusively of the proliferation of Schwann cells. It appears as a progressively growing mass that compresses neighboring structures. The treatment for this lesion is surgical resection. We present a case of schwannoma of the brachial plexus originating in the eighth cervical root
