Summary
We present the case of a patient with syringomyelia and an Arnold-Chiari type 1 malformation. It was her third pregnancy, the two previous ones having ended in early abortion, however this one had a problem free evolution. We will then talk about these two entities, which are frequently associated, and how they may affect gestation.
Resumen
Presentamos el caso de una paciente con siringomielia y una malformación de Arnold-Chiari tipo I. Era su tercer embarazo,los dos anteriores fueron abortos precoces,y éste evolucionó sin ningún tipo de problemas. Se habla acerca de estas dos entidades que se asocian con cierta frecuencia y de cómo pueden influir en la gestación.
