A contrast enhanced computed tomography (CT) scan of abdomen demonstrated a cystic lesion in sizes of 76<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>mm<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>×<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>75<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>mm<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>×<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>58<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>mm with an enhancing thick wall compatible with an abscess in left hepatic lobe. Furthermore 6<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>mm wide hepatogastric fistula was observed which is clearly associated with the stomach wall (<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#fig0005">Fig. 1</a>image a–c).</p><elsevierMultimedia ident="fig0005"></elsevierMultimedia><p id="par0010" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Liver abscess secondary to a HF is a rare complication of gastric neoplasms.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0020"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">1</span></a> There is a very limited data on literature about gastrohepatic fistula and hepatic abscess secondary to gastric malignity.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0025"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">2</span></a> Another case of hepatogastric fistula (HF) in a 58-years-old male with confirmed gastric lymphoma. Because contrast agent was not administered for the CT scan in this patient, the diagnosis was made based primarily by surgery.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0025"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">2</span></a> In a case report by Yaka et al., hepatogastric fistula was found due to gastric lymphoma which proven by surgery in a 58-year-old male patient on nonenhanced CT.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0030"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">3</span></a> Liver abscess secondary to a HF is a rare complication of gastric neoplasms.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0030"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">3</span></a> In our case fistula formation was secondary to a gastric adenocarcinoma and diagnosed by contrast enhanced CT scan easily.
