Diferentes investigaciones han demostrado que la infección por Helicobacter pylori está relacionada con el desarrollo de rosácea, una enfermedad cutánea inflamatoria que compromete principalmente la región centrofacial. Dada la limitada información encontrada en la literatura acerca de esta asociación, se realizó una búsqueda en bases de datos con el fin de recuperar información publicada, encontrándose conclusiones controvertidas en cuanto al papel que juega este bacilo en el desarrollo de la enfermedad y su erradicación como parte del tratamiento.
Different investigations have suggested that Helicobacter pylori infection is related to the development of rosacea, an inflammatory skin disease that mainly affects the middle region of the face. Given the limited information found in the literature on this association, a database search was performed to retrieve the published information; finding controversial conclusions regarding the role played by this bacillus in the development of the disease and its eradication as part of the treatment.
