Abstract

This case report describes current options in the conservative management of interstitial ectopic pregnancy, subsequent complications, and our experiences with this type of pregnancy. A Medline search was performed to identify relevant studies published from 1970 to 2003. We conclude that conservative endoscopic management is a safe and effective treatment for interstitial pregnancy that preserves fertility, although it carries a risk of uterine rupture in subsequent pregnancies.
