Resumen

En este artículo se describe la herramienta “Coeficiente U de innovación” y los resultados que se han obtenido en una muestra de 200 empresas de las regiones de Antioquia, Quindío, Risaralda y Santander – Colombia. Actualmente, alrededor de 550 empresas de Colombia, México y Chile han utilizado la herramienta y han calculado el coeficiente “U” de innovación en los rangos alto, medio y bajo, desde alto para indicar que existen pocas barreras para la innovación hasta un indicador bajo que evidencia la presencia de muchas barreras, La muestra corresponde a una selección aleatoria de empresas que usaron la herramienta entre septiembre del 2011 y marzo de 2013. En esta ocasión, se logró medir el coeficiente “U”, para determinar si existe alguna diferencia entre las 4 regiones, por áreas o dependencias y determinar el rango en el que se encuentran dichas regiones, en términos del coeficiente “U” de innovación.

ABSTRACT

This paper describe the tool “U Innovation coefficient” and the results that have been obtained in a sample of 200 companies from the regions of Antioquia, Quindío, Risaralda, Santander-Colombia. Currently, about 550 companies of Colombia, Mexico and Chile have used the tool and calculated the U Innovation coefficient in the low, medium and high ranges, from a high measurement to indicate that there are few barriers to innovation, up to a low indicator, which shows many barriers. The sample corresponds to a random selection of companies that they used the tool, between September 2011 and March 2013. This time, it was possible to measure the ‘U’ coefficient to determine whether there is any difference between the 4 regions by areas or departments and determine the range in which these regions lie, in terms of U Innovation coefficient.
