The aim of the present study was to assess the efficacy of the Advansys® DLP (dorsal Lisfranc plate) plate for performing arthrodesis of the Lisfranc joint. To this purpose, the various osteosynthesis procedures proposed in publications over the past 10 years were reviewed. The actual results with the DLP plate were assessed on 4 patients, with a mean follow-up period of 14.5 months. For the evaluation of the results, the postoperatory midfoot AOFAS scale was used; the mean score in this series was 78.7 points. We discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this particular model of plate as compared to other osteosynthesis methods.
