Evaluating health and quality of life covers multidimensional aspects of a person's development, such as physical, social, psychological, and emotional aspects, among others.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0005"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">1</span></a></p><p id="par0010" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">For more than 35 years, there has been increasing interest in the development of assessment techniques designed to explore and quantify patients' reactions to their disease.</p><p id="par0015" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Several different health questionnaires have been created to assess these aspects, which require a strict methodology in their design, formulation, and validation for their use and to provide reproducible, quantifiable, and applicable results for patient wellbeing.</p><p id="par0020" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">These scales have been used for various specialties and diseases. They are measurement instruments that incorporate the perspective of individuals and provide information on their functional and emotional status and wellbeing, with good correlation with pathophysiological indicators.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0010"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">2</span></a></p><p id="par0025" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">These questionnaires fundamentally address the emotional, psychological, and personal aspects of each patient in terms of how they consider and measure their disability or disease, which has fundamentally subjective connotations. The questionnaires, through their analysis and appropriate design seek to determine aspects, using different scales.</p><p id="par0030" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The Dizziness Handicap Inventory (DHI) was developed in 1990 by Drs Jacobson and Newman as a tool to assess the self-perception of disability caused by the effects of vestibular system disorders.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0015"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">3</span></a></p><p id="par0035" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">This questionnaire was translated, cross-culturally adapted and validated in several languages and regions, including Brazil, Portugal, Bulgaria, Japan, Israel, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, China, Norway, Holland, and Colombia.</p><p id="par0040" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The Argentine version of the DHI was culturally adapted and validated by Caldara et al. in 2012.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0020"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">4</span></a> It is an excellent instrument to quantify the effect of self-perceived disability in patients with vertigo, dizziness, or unsteadiness, and the impact this has on their activities of daily living.</p><p id="par0045" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">It was noted that when used in conjunction with the medical history and physical examination, the DHI is very useful in quantifying the effects of medical, surgical, and rehabilitative interventions.</p><p id="par0050" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">In the paediatric population, there are also questionnaires that assess and quantify conditions, diseases, or disabilities that may affect children's health. Among the most widely used are the MIDAS scale for adult headaches,<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0025"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">5</span></a> adapted in paediatrics as ped-MIDAS,<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0030"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">6</span></a> the KIDSCREEN<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0010"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">2</span></a> questionnaire, which has been adapted to the Argentine population and is used to measure health-related quality of life, and the Paediatric Quality of Life Inventory (PedsQL),<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0035"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">7</span></a> which also assesses quality of life in children aged 2–18 years. These questionnaires generally seek to address health-related physical, emotional, social, and school-related effects in children. Some are associated with a particular disease or related to their perception of the disease.</p><p id="par0055" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The DHI is widely used by professionals around the world who treat patients with balance disorders and forms part of monitoring and assessment protocols. Its use in the paediatric age group is not widespread.</p><p id="par0060" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">There is currently a version of the DHI in paediatrics (DHI-CA children and adolescents) published by Sousa et al.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0040"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">8</span></a> in Brazil, adapted for use in children over 4 years of age.</p><p id="par0065" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The aim of this publication is to make a cross-cultural and linguistic adaptation of the paediatric DHI in the Argentine population and to evaluate it in a small group of patients.</p></span><span id="sec0010" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect0070">Materials and methods</span><p id="par0070" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The literal and simple translation of a text or questionnaire from one language to another may result in misinterpretation due to cultural and language differences. Therefore, a cross-cultural adaptation is required to maintain the content validity of the instrument, and to check that the new version maintains the psychometric properties.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0045"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">9</span></a></p><p id="par0075" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Before starting work on this questionnaire, authorisation was granted by the authors of the original paediatric questionnaire in Portuguese by e-mail.</p><p id="par0080" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Then, according to the recommendations of Beaton et al.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0045"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">9</span></a> the questionnaire was translated from Portuguese into Spanish (Argentine) by two different translators with knowledge of medical terms and native speakers of the language into which the translation was made. Both translators, together with the authors, agreed on a final product after the translations. This version was back-translated by a translator with medical knowledge, who did not know the original version and a native speaker of the language of the original questionnaire.</p><p id="par0085" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">As this questionnaire is aimed at a paediatric population, some terms were adapted to be understood by children as young as 4 years old. Part of this linguistic adaptation includes the modification of pronouns and second person verbs (e.g., “<span class="elsevierStyleItalic">vos tenés dificultad para</span>...”). Examples and/or synonyms were added to the questions to improve comprehension.</p><p id="par0090" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Once the translations and back-translations had been completed, the team was joined by a psychopedagogy graduate with experience in working with children with comprehension and learning difficulties and a psychology graduate working as the headmistress of a kindergarten and primary school. The experience of these professionals in dealing with children and the appropriate language for their better interpretation completed the analysis of the questionnaire. The questions that focus on the emotional or psychological aspects of the symptom were carefully studied in each word, thinking about how each child might interpret it.</p><p id="par0095" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">A pilot test was conducted with 10 children, asking them if they had found any questions confusing or difficult. No difficulty, or slight difficulty, was observed in the comprehension of the statements. A scale of 0–5 was used to ask the level of difficulty in answering the questionnaire, with 0 being no difficulty and 5 being extremely difficult. In children between 4 and 6 years of age, a graphic scale was used with small faces in colours ranging from green to red (green without difficulty and red very difficult). Through this pilot test, 2 corrections to the questionnaire were identified at a later stage.</p><p id="par0100" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The patients included in the study had some kind of balance dysfunction and all of them were able to express it in their own words. The patients questioned understood that the term “dizziness” included the symptom for which they consulted: vertigo, dizziness, imbalance, instability.</p><p id="par0105" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The paediatric DHI questionnaire maintains the format of 25 questions of which 7 are physical, 9 emotional, and 9 functional. The response options are: Yes - Sometimes - No.</p><p id="par0110" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The maximum score that can be obtained is 100 points: 36 for the emotional subscale, 36 for the functional subscale, and 28 for the physical subscale. In no case did adults interfere with the patients' answers. This questionnaire was applicable for patients older than 4 years.</p><p id="par0160" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The physical questions did not present any major difficulties in translation. In question 6, examples were added to facilitate understanding of the situation being questioned:</p><p id="par0165" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleItalic">Original: Caminhar na calçada, passeio ou em chao esburacado piora a tontura</span>.</p><p id="par0170" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleItalic">Translation:</span> Does walking on the pavement or on uneven ground, such as grass or a bumpy road make your dizziness worse?</p><p id="par0175" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">On the emotional aspect, support was received from professionals (psychologist-psychopedagogue) to clarify some terms and add synonyms to various questions (frustrated, uncomfortable, embarrassed, sad, upset).</p><p id="par0180" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">In this area, question E13: Because of your dizziness, are you afraid to stay home alone? The question created some confusion, since young children, generally under 10 years of age, rarely stay home alone, and if their parents are absent, there is always someone responsible for them, either a carer or an older sibling to provide security and protection. This is why this answer was not considered for children under 10 years of age, and not included in the overall score.</p><p id="par0185" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">In question E14, the word “<span class="elsevierStyleItalic">perjudicado</span>” (harmed) was changed to “<span class="elsevierStyleItalic">en desventaja</span>” (at a disadvantage), the latter being a term known to the children in their games and competitions. The word “<span class="elsevierStyleItalic">perjudicado</span>” has a more negative connotation, related to harm.</p><p id="par0190" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">In the functional aspect, the questions:</p><p id="par0195" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">F20 Because of your dizziness, do you have difficulty reading? For children under 6 years of age, not yet literate, the following question was added: Do you have problems reading, drawing, or painting?</p><p id="par0200" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">F23 Because of your dizziness, is it difficult to go for a walk by yourself? It was necessary to clarify that this referred to walking without help or without being held by the hand.</p><p id="par0205" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">These details that had not been considered when formulating the questionnaire emerged after the pilot test with the patients and were corrected.</p><p id="par0210" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">It is important to differentiate between questions E12 and F25:</p><p id="par0215" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">E12: Because of your dizziness, is it difficult for you to concentrate on school activities?</p><p id="par0220" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">F25: Does your dizziness interfere with your schoolwork? Performance at school.</p><p id="par0225" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Difficulty in concentrating is related to recurrent and fearful thoughts about situations that may cause dizziness and the possibility of missing out on shared learning moments at school.</p><p id="par0230" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">However, if dizziness interferes with schoolwork, it is directly related to school performance: if the child has low grades, they cannot attend school, has to be taken out of school repeatedly because of their problems, and does not complete assigned tasks.</p><p id="par0235" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">All the patients underwent the video Head Impulse Test (vHIT) or head impulse testing using ICS Impulse equipment (Otometrics®). This test is based on the vestibulo-ocular reflex. It consists of the compensation of cephalic movements by the extrinsic ocular muscles, so that the gaze can remain fixed on an object despite rapid head movements. It is an objective, non-invasive, and easy to perform test that provides sensitive information on the compensatory nature of the labyrinthine response. The technique consists of asking the patient to look at a fixed point and applying horizontal movements to the head (to evaluate the horizontal canals) of low amplitude and high speed at an angle of approximately 15° to the right and to the left in a random manner, thus stimulating the function of the horizontal semicircular canal towards which the movement is made. The stimulated vestibular apparatus in turn activates the extrinsic muscles of both eyes (medial rectus in the ipsilateral eye and lateral rectus in the contralateral eye, in turn inhibiting the antagonist muscles) to contract in direct proportion to the cephalic rotation, moving both eyes in a compensatory manner, and keeping the eyes fixed on the object. In a patient with vestibular dysfunction this reflex is altered and impaired. When it is not stimulated, no nerve impulse is generated towards the extrinsic ocular muscles, which remain immobile with respect to the head, diverting the gaze from the object on which fixed. The normal range of gain of the vestibulo-ocular reflex is between .8–1.2.</p><p id="par0240" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">It is important to note that this study was conducted during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. Each country and region took its own isolation and school attendance measures. Therefore, questions F17: Do you miss school because of dizziness? and F19: Do you stop going to birthdays, parties, movies, video gaming spaces because of dizziness? The situation may have influenced these. However, they are valid questions for the questionnaire.</p><span id="sec0015" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect0075">Population</span><p id="par0245" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Thirty-two patients aged 4–17 years who consulted the ENT service for vertigo, dizziness, or unsteadiness, from 1 October 2020 to 1 June 2021, were included in the study.</p><p id="par0250" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The study was conducted in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, but the consultations included patients from neighbouring localities and with different academic and socioeconomic levels.</p><p id="par0255" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The sample comprised 16 females and 16 males. The mean age of the patients was 9 years, with an age range between 4 and 16 years (<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#tbl0005">Table 1</a>). The age distribution of the patients can be seen in <a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#fig0005">Fig. 1</a>.</p><elsevierMultimedia ident="tbl0005"></elsevierMultimedia><elsevierMultimedia ident="fig0005"></elsevierMultimedia></span><span id="sec0020" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect0080">Statistical analysis</span><p id="par0260" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Descriptive statistical procedures were performed, by means of measures of central tendency (mean) and dispersion (standard, minimum, and maximum deviation), in addition to having adopted inferences, the statistical significance level of 5% (<span class="elsevierStyleItalic">P</span><span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>≤<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>.05).</p><p id="par0265" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used for the analysis of the internal consistency of the questions and the reliability of the questionnaire.</p><p id="par0270" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The Pearson correlation coefficient was used for analysis of the association between the total scale scores and the subscales, and <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">t</span>-test for the analysis of the differences between genders.</p><p id="par0275" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Minitab® 17.1.0 was used to analyse the results.</p></span></span><span id="sec0025" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect0085">Results</span><p id="par0280" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">No difficulties were encountered in obtaining equivalent expressions from the original questionnaire into Spanish (Argentine).</p><p id="par0285" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">All the patients understood the term “dizziness” as they were suffering from it at the time of the consultation. Included in this symptom are: sensation of vertigo, dizziness, imbalance, or instability.</p><p id="par0290" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Most of the paediatric patients did not present disability in the areas studied.</p><p id="par0295" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Twenty-five percent (8/32 patients) had moderate disability in the physical subscale, and only one patient had severe disability. In the emotional subscale, 2/32 patients (6.25%) were severely disabled. When considering the functional subscale, 3 patients (9.4%) had moderate disability (<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#tbl0010">Table 2</a>).</p><elsevierMultimedia ident="tbl0010"></elsevierMultimedia><p id="par0300" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">In terms of the distribution of the paediatric DHI score, it was observed that the total mean score was 14.94 points (SD: 15.15), corresponding to a mild level of disability. The emotional and functional subscales had a mean score of 4.06 (SD: 7.01) and 5.25 (SD: 5.63) points, respectively. The physical subscale showed a mean score of 5.50 (SD: 4.98) points. When analysing the subscales separately, the mean score showed no disability.</p><p id="par0305" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">A <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">t</span>-test was performed for independent groups of the subscales to determine differences in means according to gender.</p><p id="par0310" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Analysis of the results revealed that females had a higher total score and for each of the subscales compared to males (<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#tbl0015">Table 3</a>).</p><elsevierMultimedia ident="tbl0015"></elsevierMultimedia><p id="par0315" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Six patients did not answer question E13 (Because of your dizziness, are you afraid of being alone at home?) as, due to their age, they are always under the care of an adult. The score was disregarded and deducted from the total score. Only in these patients was subtraction of this response considered. In no case was more than one question unanswered.</p><p id="par0320" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Vestibular migraine was the clinical diagnosis in the 2 patients with the highest total scores. The diseases presented by the patients were varied. The presence of more severe symptoms, as is often the case in vestibular neuritis, did not correlate with higher DHI scores (<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#fig0010">Fig. 2</a>).</p><elsevierMultimedia ident="fig0010"></elsevierMultimedia><p id="par0325" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Cronbach's alpha coefficient calculation was used to assess the internal consistency and reliability of the paediatric DHI questionnaire in our population. The alpha coefficient value for the total scale was (α<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>=<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>.887) and the coefficients obtained for the 3 subscales were: physical subscale (α<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>=<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>.606), emotional subscale (α<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>=<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>.889), and functional subscale (α<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>=<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>.702). The indices obtained were adequate, in terms of alpha, with a slightly lower value for the physical subscale.</p><p id="par0330" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall"><a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#tbl0020">Table 4</a> shows a comparison of the Cronbach's alpha coefficient obtained in different versions of the DHI: firstly, the results obtained in this study and, secondly, the results obtained from the DHI-CA<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0040"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">8</span></a> (original paediatric DHI in Portuguese), DHI Argentine version<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0020"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">4</span></a> (because it is the same population and language), DHI Spanish version<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0050"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">10</span></a> (from which the cross-cultural adaptation of the Argentine version in adults was made) and the original DHI<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0015"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">3</span></a> developed by Jacobson et al. in 1990. This analysis yielded similar data for all the questionnaires evaluated.</p><elsevierMultimedia ident="tbl0020"></elsevierMultimedia><p id="par0335" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">All the patients in the sample (n<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>=<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>32) underwent the video Head Impulse Test (vHIT), evaluating the right and left lateral semicircular canals. The mean recorded for the right ear was .94 (SD: .232) and the mean for the left ear was .83 (SD: .223). Only 7/32 (21.87%) patients had an abnormality in this objective study. This clinically demonstrable impairment did not correlate with elevated DHI values.</p><p id="par0340" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall"><a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#tbl0025">Table 5</a> groups these patients by disease, with the respective vHIT values for both ears and DHI scores (total - physical, emotional, and functional), and the 2 highest scores obtained by patients with normal vHIT and a diagnosis of vestibular migraine are added. As can be seen, 3 patients with abnormal vHIT had moderate disability in the physical subscale and one also in the emotional subscale. The rest of the patients had no self-perceived disability.</p><elsevierMultimedia ident="tbl0025"></elsevierMultimedia></span><span id="sec0030" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect0090">Discussion</span><p id="par0345" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The DHI is a widely known tool used in adults worldwide. It provides important data for the patient’s rehabilitation and prognosis. It is widely used as part of vestibular assessments before and after cochlear implant surgery.</p><p id="par0350" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The emotional and functional impact of vertigo or balance disturbances in children is less than in the general population. Children improve quickly and compensate more easily than adults. That is why few children present a paediatric DHI with disability indexes. In any case, it should be noted that different publications have recently also placed functional or emotional vertigo and entities such as persistent postural-perceptual dizziness (PPPD) as leading causes of balance disorders in paediatric patients.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRefs" href="#bib0055"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">11–14</span></a> This would indicate that it is important to implement the DHI in the paediatric population. According to these preliminary results, most children will not have high disability indices, but it is essential to identify those with higher scores in order to complement treatment and provide adequate follow-up. The use of questionnaires in paediatrics provides the space for children to express their emotions according to the symptom.</p><p id="par0355" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The paediatric otoneurological consultation takes a long time and involves detailed questioning of parents and children, paying attention to how they describe the symptom, identifying associated or triggering factors, and investigating other concomitant symptoms such as headaches, vagal, and auditory symptoms. It is important to consider the repercussions on the child's daily life and activities, their worries and emotions about the situation. It is even more important if this symptom is recurrent and accompanied by a normal physical examination, and circumstances where recovery is torpid despite normal objective tests. Use of this questionnaire gives or helps give the child a kick-start to express their difficulties and perception of the symptom.</p><p id="par0360" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Wider use of this type of questionnaire will generate more enriching data and better diagnosis and treatment.</p><span id="sec0035" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect0095">Difficulties encountered</span><p id="par0365" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Several of the questions in the DHI target benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) which is the most common condition in adults, but rare in children, therefore lower scores would be expected in this population.</p><p id="par0370" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The sample of children interviewed to date is small. Further validation will require a larger population.</p></span></span><span id="sec0040" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect0100">Conclusion</span><p id="par0375" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">From this work we were able to adapt this form culturally and linguistically for use in the Argentine population. According to Beaton's recommendations, the questionnaire was translated from Portuguese to Spanish (Argentine) by 2 different translators and a back-translation to the original language by 2 other translators. Since this questionnaire is directed at a paediatric population, some terms were adapted to be understood by children from 4 years old. A psychopedagogue and a psychologist joined the team to delve more deeply into the questions that focus on the emotional or psychological aspects of the symptom.</p></span> <span id="abst0015" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect0020">Results</span><p id="spar0085" class="elsevierStyleSimplePara elsevierViewall">No difficulties were found in obtaining equivalent expressions from the original questionnaire to Spanish (Argentine). The internal consistency of this cross-culturally adapted questionnaire was like those already published in other languages. Most paediatric patients do not have disabilities in the areas studied. Según las recomendaciones de Beaton et al., se realizó la traducción del cuestionario del portugués al español (argentino) por 2 traductores diferentes y una retrotraducción al idioma original por otros 2 traductores. Por tratarse de población pediátrica a quienes está dirigido este cuestionario, se adaptaron algunos términos para ser comprendidos por niños desde los 4 años. Se sumó al equipo una licenciada en psicopedagogía y una licenciada en psicología, con experiencia en trabajo escolar en población infantil para profundizar en las preguntas que se enfocan hacia lo emocional o psicológico del síntoma.</p></span> <span id="abst0035" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect0045">Resultados</span><p id="spar0115" class="elsevierStyleSimplePara elsevierViewall">No se encontraron dificultades para conseguir expresiones equivalentes del cuestionario original al español (argentino). La consistencia interna y fiabilidad de este cuestionario adaptado transculturalmente fue semejante a aquellos ya publicados en otros idiomas. En su mayoría los pacientes pediátricos no presentaron discapacidad en las áreas estudiadas.
