Presentamos un caso de carcinoma mioepitelial o mioepitelioma maligno de mama, tumor infrecuente derivado de la proliferación de células mioepiteliales. Son tumores con clínica y radiología inespecíficas, y que para su diagnóstico requieren del análisis con técnicas de inmunohistoquímica o ultrastructurales que permitan diferenciarlo de otros tumores mesenquimales, tanto benignos como malignos.
We present a case of myoepithelial carcinoma or malignant myoepithelioma of the breast, a rare tumor that occurs as a result of myoepithelial cell proliferation. The clinical and radiological signs of these tumors are nonspecific. Immunohistochemical or ultrastructural techniques, which allow them to be differentiated from other mesenchymal tumors, whether benign or malignant, are required for diagnosis.
