Call for papers: Vascular Access & Specialised Teams
Everyday millions of vascular devices are inserted around the world for the administration of intravenous therapy. These devices must be adapted to the growing healthcare demand, care complexity, the multitude of therapeutic options, and the preferences of the users who carry them. The aim to excel in intravenous therapy, together with the need to avoid potential associated complications, has required developing teams of highly qualified professionals in the establishment, maintenance, and care of people who require intravenous therapy, known as Vascular Access Specialist Teams (VASTs).
