        "resumen" => "<span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle">Introducci&#243;n</span><p id="spar0005" class="elsevierStyleSimplePara elsevierViewall">En este art&#237;culo se revisa la bibliograf&#237;a publicada desde 1990 hasta agosto de 2002 sobre la informaci&#243;n proporcionada a los pacientes que se someten a una prostatectom&#237;a &#40;resecci&#243;n transuretral de la pr&#243;stata o cirug&#237;a abierta&#41;</p> <span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle">Objetivo</span><p id="spar0010" class="elsevierStyleSimplePara elsevierViewall">Examinar la investigaci&#243;n publicada sobre la informaci&#243;n proporcionada a los pacientes que se someten a una prostatectom&#237;a con el objetivo de elaborar un folleto informativo para dichos pacientes</p> <span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle">M&#233;todos</span><p id="spar0015" class="elsevierStyleSimplePara elsevierViewall">Se realiz&#243; la b&#250;squeda bibliogr&#225;fica&#44; desde 1990 hasta agosto de 2002&#44; de los art&#237;culos escritos en ingl&#233;s o espa&#241;ol&#44; con una metodolog&#237;a expl&#237;cita de investigaci&#243;n&#44; cuyo inter&#233;s principal residiera en la educaci&#243;n de los pacientes que se someten a una prostatectom&#237;a&#44; y estuvieran basados en la pr&#225;ctica urol&#243;gica hospitalaria&#46; Finalmente pudimos seleccionar y revisar 7 art&#237;culos</p> <span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle">Resultados</span><p id="spar0020" class="elsevierStyleSimplePara elsevierViewall">La informaci&#243;n sobre la prostatectom&#237;a tiene efectos positivos sobre el grado de ansiedad y la satisfacci&#243;n de los pacientes&#46; Sin embargo&#44; los recursos disponibles tienden a no satisfacer la informaci&#243;n requerida por los pacientes</p> <span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle">Conclusiones</span><p id="spar0025" class="elsevierStyleSimplePara elsevierViewall">Las necesidades espec&#237;ficas de la poblaci&#243;n objeto de estudio deber&#237;an ser bien analizadas antes de elaborar y dise&#241;ar el folleto&#46; Se precisan m&#225;s investigaciones para evaluar laefectividad y la adecuaci&#243;n del material informativo con las necesidades percibidas</p>"
