La artrodesis tibiotalocalcánea (TTC) se cuenta entre las técnicas más exigentes en el tratamiento de pacientes con artrosis grave con o sin mala alineación del retropié y dolor incapacitante asociado. La cirugía mínimamente invasiva sin isquemia del miembro es potencialmente beneficiosa en estos pacientes. Revisamos aquí los resultados funcionales, la calidad de vida percibida y las complicaciones en una serie consecutiva de 55 pacientes intervenidos de artrodesis TTC con clavo retrógrado mediante cirugía mínimamente invasiva.

The tibiotalocalcaneal (TTC) arthrodesis ranks among the most demanding techniques in the treatment of patients with severe osteoarthritis with or without hindfoot misalignment and associated incapacitating pain. Minimally invasive surgery without limb ischaemia is potentially beneficial in these patients. We here review the functional results, the perceived quality of life and the complications in a consecutive series of 55 patients who had undergone TTC arthrodesis with retrograde nail through minimally invasive surgery.
