Constaba exclusivamente de 2 secuelas: Hipofunción pituitaria-hipotalámica anterior (déficit de TSH y ACTH), baremado en 10-20 puntos, y Lesiones de neurohipófisis (diabetes insípida), baremada entre 15-30 puntos (<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#tbl0005">tabla 1</a>).</p><elsevierMultimedia ident="tbl0005"></elsevierMultimedia></span><span id="sec0010" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect0030">Nuevo baremo</span><p id="par0010" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">El nuevo baremo, que recoge en su Capítulo IX el Sistema glandular endocrino, exige el diagnóstico por un endocrinólogo, tras el examen clínico y las exploraciones complementarias, descartando un estado anterior (aunque el paciente lo desconozca), y valorando según adaptación al tratamiento, la respuesta y el control de la enfermedad (<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#tbl0010">tabla 2</a>). Abarca más ampliamente el número de glándulas del sistema endocrino, pero dejando la función endocrina de testículo y ovario para el Capítulo VIII, sistema reproductor, previamente ubicadas en Abdomen y pelvis (órganos y vísceras) dentro del Capítulo II, Tronco.<ul class="elsevierStyleList" id="lis0005"><li class="elsevierStyleListItem" id="lsti0005"><span class="elsevierStyleLabel">−</span><p id="par0015" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Hipófisis: el panhipopituitarismo se barema en 10-45 puntos, y la diabetes insípida en 15-30 puntos (según diuresis con tratamiento), que queda igual.</p></li><li class="elsevierStyleListItem" id="lsti0010"><span class="elsevierStyleLabel">−</span><p id="par0020" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Tiroides: el hipotiroidismo, reconocido como de origen postraumático de forma excepcional, y consecuencia de la destrucción total del tiroides, se barema en 10 puntos.</p></li><li class="elsevierStyleListItem" id="lsti0015"><span class="elsevierStyleLabel">−</span><p id="par0025" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Paratiroides: el hipoparatiroidismo, al que se hacen las mismas consideraciones que para el tiroides, queda baremado igualmente en 10 puntos.</p></li><li class="elsevierStyleListItem" id="lsti0020"><span class="elsevierStyleLabel">−</span><p id="par0030" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Páncreas-diabetes insulinodependiente: exige una lesión masiva del páncreas, y la clasifica según la diabetes tenga mal o buen control, precisando analítica de hemoglobina glucosilada (HbA1c), promedio del nivel de la glucosa en sangre de 2-3 meses previos. La de mal control, se valorará según repercusión sobre el estado general, complicaciones y limitación de la actividad general, en un arco de 21-40 puntos. La bien controlada, según repercusión sobre la actividad general (15-20 puntos).</p></li><li class="elsevierStyleListItem" id="lsti0025"><span class="elsevierStyleLabel">−</span><p id="par0035" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Suprarrenales: la insuficiencia suprarrenal, reconocida como excepcionalmente postraumática, y consecuencia de la destrucción de alguna de las glándulas suprarrenales, se barema en 10-25 puntos.</p></li></ul></p><elsevierMultimedia ident="tbl0010"></elsevierMultimedia></span><span id="sec0015" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect0035">Conclusiones</span><p id="par0040" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">En definitiva, se destaca la ampliación realizada en cuanto a glándulas afectadas, el requisito de informe del especialista, y el descarte de un estado anterior, debiéndose valorar las modificaciones con la terapéutica.</p></span><span id="sec0020"
