El propósito de este artículo es mostrar la patología y la opción terapéutica utilizada en un caso clínico de retropié varo parcialmente compensado. A su vez, mostrar una revisión de la patomecánica y todos los subtipos, analizando los signos y síntomas producidos y exponiendo las distintas opciones de tratamiento.
Para realizar el diagnóstico y clasificarlo entre los distintos subtipos, se realiza una revisión bibliográfica y una exploración exhaustiva tanto en dinámica como en estática de la paciente. Para ello, mostramos el análisis fotográfico y biomecánico realizado en el caso clínico, que apoya el diagnóstico definitivo.
El resultado tras la exploración y la aplicación del tratamiento mediante unos soportes plantares de resinas fue satisfactorio, dado que la paciente manifiesta mejoría de la sintomatología. Sin descartar nuevas modificaciones de tratamiento posteriores.
Conocer esta patología y saber diferenciar cada subtipo es básico para establecer un tratamiento ortopodológico efectivo que corrija la deformidad. Aunque existan varias opciones de tratamiento, que no debemos ignorar ni conformarnos únicamente con ellas
The purpose of this paper is to show the pathology and the therapeutic option used in a case of varus hindfoot partly compensated. In turn, present a review of all subtypes pathomechanics and analyzing the signs and symptoms produced and explaining the various treatment options.
To make the diagnosis and classification among the different subtypes, we review the literature and an exhaustive exploration both in dynamic and in static patient. To do this, we show the photo and biomechanical analysis performed in the clinical case, which supports the final diagnosis.
The result after the examination and application of orthotics treatment with a resin was satisfactory, as the patient shows improvement in symptoms. Without ruling out further changes after treatment.
Knowing this disease and know how to differentiate each subtype is essential for establishing effective orthosis treatment to correct the deformity. Although there are several treatment options that we should not ignore or be satisfied only with them.
