        "resumen" => "<p class="elsevierStylePara"> Introducci&#243;n&#58; El nervio sural es un nervio sensitivo que tras recorrer la cara posterior de la pierna alcanza el borde lateral del tend&#243;n de Aquiles y discurre paralelo a &#233;l hasta el recorrido retromaleolar del nervio&#46; La utilizaci&#243;n de t&#233;cnicas de fisioterapia invasiva en torno al territorio del nervio sural compromete su integridad&#46;<br /> Objetivos&#58; Describir la relaci&#243;n del nervio sural con el tend&#243;n de Aquiles y las estructuras adyacentes para determinar v&#237;as de abordaje seguras en los procedimientos invasivos de fisioterapia&#46;<br /> Material y m&#233;todos&#58; Se analizaron 10 piernas de cad&#225;veres embalsamados&#44; con el plano superficial de la regi&#243;n posterior disecado&#46; Se midi&#243; la distancia del punto de inserci&#243;n del tend&#243;n de Aquiles hasta el punto de cruce del nervio sural sobre dicho tend&#243;n&#44; entre dicho punto de cruce y la uni&#243;n miotendinosa del tend&#243;n de Aquiles con los gastrocnemios&#44; y las distancias laterales entre el tend&#243;n de Aquiles y el nervio sural a 3&#44; 5&#44; 7&#44; 9 y 10 cm de la inserci&#243;n tendinosa&#46;<br /> Resultados&#58; El punto de cruce del nervio sural sobre el tend&#243;n de Aquiles se estableci&#243; a una distancia promedio del punto de inserci&#243;n del tend&#243;n en el calc&#225;neo de 105&#44;37 mm &#40;DE&#58; 12&#44;87&#41;&#46;<br /> El cruce del nervio sural sobre el tend&#243;n respecto a la uni&#243;n miotendinosa del gastrocnemio se estableci&#243; a una distancia promedio de 83&#44;44 mm &#40;DE&#58; 9&#44;49&#41;&#46; En la mitad de los casos la distancia lateral es progresivamente mayor en sentido distal&#46; En todos los casos&#44; la m&#225;xima distancia lateral se alcanza a 3 cm de la inserci&#243;n del tend&#243;n en el calc&#225;neo&#46;<br /> Conclusiones&#58; El nervio sural guarda una relaci&#243;n anat&#243;mica directa con el tend&#243;n de Aquiles&#46;<br /> La variabilidad de la relaci&#243;n y la proximidad de ambas estructuras impiden establecer zonas seguras de abordaje mediante gu&#237;a manual&#44; por lo que se recomienda el abordaje ecoguiado de las t&#233;cnicas de fisioterapia invasiva en la regi&#243;n&#46;</p>"

        "resumen" => "<p class="elsevierStylePara"> Introduction&#58; The sural nerve is a sensory nerve that runs down the posterior leg reaching the lateral aspect of the Achilles tendon&#44; and running parallel to it&#44; until the retromalleolar course of the nerve&#46; The use of invasive physiotherapy techniques in the territory of the sural nerve compromises its integrity&#46;<br /> Objectives&#58; To describe the relationship of the sural nerve with the Achilles tendon and adjacent structures in order to determine safe approach routes in invasive physiotherapy procedures&#46;<br /> Material and methods&#58; 10 legs from embalmed corpses were analysed with the epifascial plane dissected in the dorsal region&#46; The distance from the point of insertion of the Achilles tendon was measured to the point at which the sural nerve crosses over the tendon&#46; The distance was also measured between the said crossing point and the musculotendinous junction of the Achilles tendon with the gastrocnemius muscle&#44; and the lateral distances between the Achilles tendon and the sural nerve at 3&#44; 5&#44; 7&#44; 9 and 10 cm from the calcaneal tendon insertion&#46;<br /> Results&#58; The crossing point of the sural nerve on the Achilles tendon occurred at an average distance of 105&#46;37 mm &#40;SD&#58; 12&#46;87&#41; from the insertion point of the tendon in the calcaneus&#46; In relation to the gastrocnemius musculotendinous junction&#44; the crossing point of the sural nerve on the tendon occurred at an average distance of 83&#46;44 mm &#40;SD 9&#46;49&#41;&#46; In half of the cases the lateral distance was progressively greater in the distal direction&#46; In all cases&#44; the maximum lateral distance was reached at 3 cm from the calcaneal tendon insertion&#46;<br /> Conclusions&#58; The sural nerve has a direct anatomical relationship with the Achilles tendon&#46; The variability of this and the proximity of both structures preclude the establishment of safe areas by manual approach guidance&#46; Therefore&#44; ultrasound-guided approaches are recommended during invasive techniques applied in this region&#46;</p>"
