García-Purriños (from Hospital del Mar Menor, Murcia, Spain), the “Material and Methods” section reads “From the anatomical pathology records, we selected all patients with definitive positive biopsy for benign tumour of the parotid gland, from 1 January 1995 to 31 December 2005, to keep track of the evolution of patients for a minimum of 3 years. Of these, we extracted those patients with pleomorphic adenoma (PA) and Warthin's tumour (WT). As an additional inclusion criterion, patients should have undergone a review in the past year. Acta Otorrinolaringológica Española, the official publication of the Spanish Society of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery and the Ibero-American Society of Otorhinolaryngology, is the most important journal in Spanish dedicated to Otorhinolaryngology, which reflects the continuous scientific and technical progress of the specialty. It has become an important tool to be kept up to date.
