Squamous cell carcinoma of the breast is an infrequent entity, representing 0.06%-1.1% of malignant breast neoplasms; it rarely occurs in males.

It can be a primary tumour, of controversial origin (abscess, cyst, etc.), or secondary to epidermoid tumour in a different location (lung, larynx, esophagus, bladder and cervix). It is therefore important to carry out endoscopy, thoracic-abdominal computerized axial tomography and gynecological examination in women to diagnose primary lesions.

The treatment of these tumors does not differ from that of other breast tumors, although squamous cell tumors usually have a rapid and aggressive development, with a recurrence rate of approximately 25%.
