Estos datos apoyan la necesidad de integrar un programa de actuación frente a las drogodependencias en el plan de estudios de enseñanza secundaria y supone un importante apoyo para los profesores en su labor docente y una ayuda para el personal de enfermería en su función modélica, desde los centros de salud
The objective of the present study is to evaluate the prevalence of tobacco consumption on the secondary school students of Córdoba (Spain) by means of a descriptive study carried out over a group of students selected by random stratified sampling
The results show that a 55.5% of the students try tobacco sometimes and the 22.6% usually smoke, the mean age of consumption initiation being 11.8 years
These facts manifest the need to form an action program against the drug addiction in the studies plan of secondary education and reveal the important support for teachers in their teaching and exemplary function given by the Nursing staff from Health Centres
