The result is a clear example of how the interdisciplinary approach of different specialties, in this case ophthalmologists, rheumatologists, immunologists and internists with a focus on systemic diseases, is essential to achieve the main objective, which is that the patient does not lose, or recovers, maximum visual acuity with as few side effects as possible.
