Inflammatory fibroid polyp or Vanek's tumor is a rare, benign, mesenchymal lesion originated from the submucosa of the gastrointestinal tract, usually located in gastric antrum (66–75%), small intestine (18–20%) and rarely in colon or rectum (4–7%).
