    "textoCompleto" => "<span class="elsevierStyleSections"><p id="par0005" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleItalic">Cutis verticis gyrata</span> is a skin condition with visible folds&#44; ridges or creases on the surface of the top of the scalp that resembles the cerebral convolutions&#44; not reducible by traction or pressure&#46; It has been described associated with chromosomal syndromes&#44; such as Turner or Noonan syndromes&#44; but poorly associated with Klinefelter syndrome&#46; Pathogenesis is unknown&#46; We report the case of a 53 year-old male visiting outpatient clinic with a series of asymptomatic skin folds&#44; located transversely to the front level and longitudinally in the scalp&#44; with several years of evolution &#40;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#fig0005">Fig&#46; 1</a>&#41;&#46; The patient reported no history of epileptic seizures and was already diagnosed with Klinefelter syndrome with a 47&#44; XXY karyotype&#46; The patient underwent a biopsy of the scalp that only showed an increased thickness of the dermis&#44; with no other changes&#44; with no mucin deposition&#46; A blood test was requested for general biochemistry and blood cell counts&#44; which were normal&#46; The patient was diagnosed with <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">cutis verticis gyrata</span> secondary to Klinefelter syndrome and was monitored with no treatment other than daily hygiene to prevent accumulation of detritus among the folds&#46;</p><elsevierMultimedia ident="fig0005"></elsevierMultimedia></span>"
