He was denied of gastrointestinal bleeding, without rectal bleeding or melena. Patient reported that his mother had similar injuries. On examination, bluish tumours of soft consistency, vascular appearance and widespread distribution were visible, including oral mucosa (<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#fig0005">Fig. 1</a>). Skin biopsy showed irregular size and shape vascular ectasia in the dermis, surrounded by a layer of endothelial cells (<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#fig0010">Fig. 2</a>), negative D2-40. Both, in the colonoscopy (<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#fig0015">Fig. 3</a>A and B) and in the gastroscopy, multiple vascular lesions were found; some of them received sclerotherapy with etoxiesclerol 2%.
