Presentamos una causa poco común de abdomen agudo en un pa-ciente con angioedema hereditario. Los hallazgos ecográficos y de TC descritos pueden sugerir este diagnóstico, evitando cirugías inútiles en pacientes no diagnosticados previamente de esta enfermedad.

We present an uncommon case of acute abdomen in a patient with hereditary angioedema. The ultrasound and CT findings described may suggest this diagnosis, thus avoiding useless surgical interventions in patients in whom the disease has not been previously diagnosed.
