Resumen
En este artículo se revisan las complicaciones médicas más importantes que interfieren con el tratamiento rehabilitador del traumatismo craneoencefálico: epilepsia, alteraciones endocrinas, disautonomía, fiebre central, etc. Se dan recomendaciones para su reconocimiento y tratamiento precoz ya que mejora el resultado funcional y se reduce la estancia hospitalaria.

Summary
In this article, the most important medications that interfere with rehabilitation treatment are reviewed: epilepsy, endocrine disorders, dysautonomy, central fever, etc. Recommendations are given for its recognition and early treatment since it improves functional result and reduces hospital stay.
