No existieron complicaciones.

Objective

Assessment of the result of arthroscopic treatment of isolated fractures of the intercondylar eminence.

Materials and methods

Five cases of fracture of the intercondylar eminence, grades II and III of the Meyers and Mc-Keever classification, were studied.

Results

All five patients recovered their preinjury activity and athletic activity, with no signs of anterior instability in the physical examination. There were no complications.

Conclusions

Isolated fractures of the intercondylar eminence can be treated satisfactorily using Herbert cannulated screws, which stabilize the fracture while compressing the fracture focus.
