Aims and scope
The Mexican Journal of Ophthalmology (Revista Mexicana de Oftalmología, RMO) is the official publication of the Mexican Society of Ophthalmology (Sociedad Mexicana de Oftalmología). The journal is the result of the fusion of the journals: "Anales de la Sociedad Mexicana de Oftalmología", "Archivos de la Asociación para evitar la ceguera en Mexico" and "Boletín del Hospital oftalmológico de Nuestra Señora de la Luz". RMO publishes in Spanish or English, original unpublished scientific articles, review articles, clinical case reports, comments on related topics, letters to the editor and special sections (this last only by invitation) related to basic, epidemiological, surgical, and clinical aspects of ophthalmology.
