  • -

    Segundo a espessura μ1mm<μ2mm3mm4mm

  • -

Tipo de resina utilizado: μPalapress VarioLucitonePaladon 65

  • -

Localização dos pontos de medição do palato μP3P4P1P5

  • -

Corte transversal efectuado: μCorte ACorte BCorte C

Abstract

The objective of the present study was the comparison between the behaviour of various polymethyl metacrylates (Paladon® 65, Lucitone® Fas-porTM e Palapress® Vario) utilised in indirect denture reline, involving distinct regions of the palatal surface of the various groups of models, and relative to specific degree of thickness. A total of 60 reline models where elaborated, divided into 4 groups of 15 in accordance to thickness; 1mm thickness, 2mm thickness, 3mm thickness, and 4mm thickness, with the objective of achieving 900 experimental units, witch where Microscope. subsequently analyzed under an Inverted Research Metallurgical

The ordinate values relative to the mean distance on the interface, between the acrylic resin of indirect reline and the casts, values of the various polymethyl metacrylates utilized in indirect reline the present study is as follows:

  • -

    In accordance to thickness μ1mm2mm3mm4mm

  • -

Type of resin utilized: μPalapress VarioLucitonePaladon 65

  • -

Location of palatal measurement points: μP3P4P1P5

  • -

Transverse section: μCorte ACorte BCorte C

In conclusion: The best reline results (p<0.01), was achieved with the utilization of Palapress® Vario, an auto-polymerized resin, at the measurement point corresponding to the palatal midline (point 3), and 1mm and 2mm thickness.
