LETTER TO THE EDITOR IN CHIEF
Following the publication about "Anaphylaxis to paracetamol" in Allergologia et Immunopathologia 1998;26(4):199-200, I would like to complete the references of our article. Perhaps it is necesary to publish this remark:
Summary: Anaphylaxis to paracetamol exists and perhaps nowadays diagnosis is not confirmed to clinical evidence of: 1) the repeatability of clinical symptoms, 2) skin tests, 3) provocation tests. But also by immuno-biological evidence. Application of the test of Activation of basophils by Flow Cytometry and measurement of leucotriene C4 have been nowadays largely validated and constitute irrefutable origin of the clinical symptoms.
