El tumor de células granulares de la vulva es un tumor benigno, de crecimiento lento, predominantemente único y, de forma habitual, asintomático. Es fundamental que el ginecólogo tenga conocimiento de su existencia para realizar un correcto tratamiento en la resección local. Existe una forma de este tumor, muy infrecuente, histológicamente benigna pero de comportamiento maligno, que debe ser conocida parasu correcto tratamiento y control.
Granular cell tumours of the vulva are benign, slow growing, and predominantly solitary, and are commonly asymptomatic. It is imperative that gynaecologists are aware of the existence of such tumours to provide appropriate treatment with conservative resection. There is an infrequently found form of this tumour which is histologically benign, but which behaves like a malignant tumour. This should also be knwon about in order to treat it correctly.
