Más datosThis study aimed to identify the relationship between work shifts and level of fatigue among workers. This study used descriptive correlation methods with a cross-sectional approach. Data were collected through a questionnaire of 80 respondents. The majority of respondents (n=64, 80%) were 20–40 years of age and had less than 10 years of work experience (n=54, 67.5%), workers experienced fatigue (n=12, 15%) and exhaustion (n=64, 80%). A chi-square test showed no correlation between work shift and the level of fatigue (p=.235). This study recommends that companies pay attention to middle-adult workers because they may experience higher levels of fatigue and require a lighter workload. Occupational health nurses should educate workers on exercise, stretching, and relaxation techniques to help reduce worker fatigue. It is important to have 15–30min of rest after working 4h.
