In a small number of individual clinical cases, cancer vaccines appear to achieve remarkable results. There have been significant advances in the field of cancer vaccines with many treatments in clinical trials or with promising pre-clinical results. Here we feature a number of original research papers and reviews in this field that represent the cutting edge of knowledge and practice, and address the challenges and drawbacks of specific approaches.
