o desempenho competitivo depende da intera&#231;&#227;o de diferentes fatores como composi&#231;&#227;o corporal&#44; pot&#234;ncia muscular e velocidade m&#225;xima atingida pelos jogadores em curtas dist&#226;ncias &#40;velocidade de <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">sprint</span>&#41;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0350"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">1</span></a>&#46; Esses fatores podem oscilar ao longo da temporada que&#44; usualmente&#44; se divide em 3 per&#237;odos&#58; pr&#233;&#8208;temporada&#44; per&#237;odo competitivo e per&#237;odo de transi&#231;&#227;o&#46; A pr&#233;&#8208;temporada corresponde ao tempo existente entre a volta das f&#233;rias e o primeiro jogo oficial do campeonato &#40;in&#237;cio de temporada&#41;&#46; Durante esse per&#237;odo&#44; com o intuito de maximizar as adapta&#231;&#245;es biol&#243;gicas decorrentes do treinamento sistem&#225;tico&#44; &#233; comum priorizar a prepara&#231;&#227;o f&#237;sica&#46; Logo na sequ&#234;ncia&#44; o per&#237;odo competitivo visa&#44; prioritariamente&#44; manter ou potencializar a forma f&#237;sica adquirida durante a pr&#233;&#8208;temporada&#44; enquanto que&#44; ap&#243;s o per&#237;odo de transi&#231;&#227;o &#40;per&#237;odo de f&#233;rias&#41;&#44; espera&#8208;se uma redu&#231;&#227;o no desempenho f&#237;sico global&#44; devido &#224; aus&#234;ncia dos treinamentos f&#237;sicos e&#47;ou t&#233;cnicos espec&#237;ficos<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0355"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">2</span></a>&#46;</p><p id="par0010" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">J&#225; est&#225; bem estabelecido que as varia&#231;&#245;es de volume e intensidade de treinamento&#44; que ocorrem durante toda a temporada competitiva&#44; s&#227;o essenciais para a manuten&#231;&#227;o do desempenho dos futebolistas<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0360"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">3</span></a>&#46; Por outro lado&#44; as fases exaustivas de treinamento aliadas aos curtos per&#237;odos de recupera&#231;&#227;o parecem estar diretamente associadas &#224; fadiga acumulada e a uma maior incid&#234;ncia das les&#245;es musculoesquel&#233;ticas<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0365"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">4</span></a>&#46; Al&#233;m disso&#44; foi reportado que os per&#237;odos de destreinamento de curto &#40;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>&#8804;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>4 semanas&#41; ou longo prazo &#40;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>&#62;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>4 semanas&#41;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0370"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">5</span></a> s&#227;o capazes de reduzir o desempenho das capacidades de for&#231;a&#44; pot&#234;ncia muscular e velocidade&#44; prejudicando o rendimento esportivo<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRefs" href="#bib0375"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">6&#44;7</span></a>&#46;</p><p id="par0015" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Com a inten&#231;&#227;o de preservar a integridade dos jovens atletas e n&#227;o exp&#244;&#8208;los a uma alta demanda de treinamento e competi&#231;&#227;o&#44; algumas entidades que regulamentam o futebol elaboram o calend&#225;rio competitivo das categorias de base com uma menor frequ&#234;ncia semanal de competi&#231;&#245;es &#40;geralmente&#44; uma partida por semana&#41;&#46; Outro aspecto comum na organiza&#231;&#227;o desses campeonatos &#233; a suspens&#227;o das competi&#231;&#245;es nos per&#237;odos dos recessos escolares&#44; permitindo que os jovens atletas descansem e se recuperem adequadamente&#46; Contudo&#44; se por um lado&#44; esse per&#237;odo de recupera&#231;&#227;o contribui para preservar a integridade dos jovens atletas &#40;que possuem dose&#8208;resposta de treino diferente&#41;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0385"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">8</span></a>&#44; por outro&#44; pode provocar aumento do percentual de gordura&#44; decl&#237;nio na velocidade dos processos bioqu&#237;micos para obten&#231;&#227;o de energia&#44; e queda de desempenho f&#237;sico e de rendimento competitivo<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0370"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">5</span></a>&#46;</p><p id="par0020" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Os preju&#237;zos causados pelo destreinamento em diferentes modalidades est&#227;o bem descritos na literatura<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRefs" href="#bib0375"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">6&#44;7</span></a>&#46; Em futebolistas adultos&#44; estudos pr&#233;vios demonstraram que 3 semanas de destreinamento foram suficientes para aumentar o percentual de gordura corporal &#40;&#37;GC&#41; de 9&#46;6<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>&#177;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>2&#46;5&#37; para 12&#46;6<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>&#177;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>3&#46;3&#37; &#40;&#8776;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>30&#37;&#41; e diminuir o desempenho da velocidade com aumento do tempo dos 50<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>m de 7&#46;1<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>&#177;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>0&#46;5<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>s para 7&#46;6<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>&#177;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>0&#46;5<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>s &#40;&#8776;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>7&#37;&#41;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0390"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">9</span></a>&#46; Amigo et al&#46;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0395"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">10</span></a> reportaram que per&#237;odos mais prolongados de destreinamento &#40;6&#8208;8 semanas&#41; em jovens futebolistas tamb&#233;m foram capazes de reduzir a &#225;rea de sec&#231;&#227;o transversa das fibras musculares do tipo <span class="elsevierStyleSmallCaps">I</span> e tipo <span class="elsevierStyleSmallCaps">II</span>&#44; e tamb&#233;m a atividade das enzimas creatina quinase&#44; citrato sintase&#44; fosfofrutoquinase&#44; lactato desidrogenase e aspartato aminotransferase&#44; as quais exercem papel fundamental na ress&#237;ntese de ATP durante atividades de alta intensidade&#46;</p><p id="par0025" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Apesar dos resultados supracitados&#44; os efeitos do destreinamento sobre a aptid&#227;o f&#237;sica espec&#237;fica de jovens futebolistas de elite ainda n&#227;o est&#227;o bem documentados&#46; No melhor de nosso conhecimento&#44; apenas 2 estudos analisaram o efeito do destreinamento em jovens futebolistas<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRefs" href="#bib0370"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">5&#44;10</span></a>&#46; No entanto&#44; em nenhuma dessas investiga&#231;&#245;es as amostras foram constitu&#237;das por atletas de elite&#46; Assim&#44; enquanto Melchiori et al&#46;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0370"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">5</span></a> verificaram redu&#231;&#245;es de 22&#46;7&#37; no consumo de oxig&#234;nio &#40;VO<span class="elsevierStyleInf">2</span>&#41; na velocidade do limiar aer&#243;bio&#44; de 25&#46;8&#37; no VO<span class="elsevierStyleInf">2</span> na velocidade do limiar anaer&#243;bio e de 21&#46;2&#37; no VO<span class="elsevierStyleInf">2</span> m&#225;ximo&#46; Amigo et al&#46;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0395"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">10</span></a> demonstraram&#44; ap&#243;s 8 semanas de destreinamento&#44; redu&#231;&#245;es na &#225;rea de sec&#231;&#227;o transversa das fibras musculares e na atividade das enzimas creatina quinase&#44; citrato sintase&#44; fosfofrutoquinase&#44; lactato desidrogenase e aspartato aminotransferase&#46; Adicionalmente&#44; os autores avaliaram os efeitos do destreinamento apenas nas altera&#231;&#245;es da aptid&#227;o aer&#243;bia&#44; na estrutura muscular &#40;&#225;rea da sec&#231;&#227;o transversa das fibras tipo <span class="elsevierStyleSmallCaps">I</span> e tipo <span class="elsevierStyleSmallCaps">II</span> do m&#250;sculo vastolateral&#41; e na diminui&#231;&#227;o das atividades enzim&#225;ticas &#40;creatinequinase&#44; citratosintase&#44; fosfofrutoquinase&#44; lactato desidrogenase e da aspartato aminotransferase&#41;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRefs" href="#bib0370"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">5&#44;10</span></a>&#46; Desse modo&#44; os efeitos de 2 semanas de destreinamento nas capacidades de pot&#234;ncia muscular e velocidade c&#237;clica em jovens futebolistas de elite ainda carecem de investiga&#231;&#227;o cient&#237;fica&#46;</p><p id="par0030" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Portanto&#44; o objetivo desse estudo foi investigar os efeitos do destreinamento de curto prazo na composi&#231;&#227;o corporal&#44; na altura do salto vertical &#40;SV&#41; e na velocidade linear de jogadores sub17 da elite do futebol brasileiro&#46; Hipotetizamos que um per&#237;odo de destreinamento de 2 semanas estaria associado a um aumento do &#37;GC em jovens futebolistas de elite e&#44; al&#233;m disso&#44; provocaria redu&#231;&#245;es significantes em suas capacidades f&#237;sicas&#46;</p></span><span id="sec0010" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect0100">M&#233;todo</span><span id="sec0015" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect0105">Sujeitos</span><p id="par0035" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">A amostra foi selecionada por conveni&#234;ncia e foi composta de 22 futebolistas da categoria sub17 &#40;idade&#58; 16&#46;4<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>&#177;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>0&#46;4 anos&#59; massa corporal&#58; 70&#46;0<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>&#177;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>7&#46;1<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>kg&#59; estatura&#58; 175&#46;9<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>&#177;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>6&#46;9<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>cm&#41;&#46; Nos 3 meses que antecederam o estudo&#44; nenhum atleta utilizou suplementos alimentares&#44; anti&#8208;inflamat&#243;rios ou outros medicamentos que pudessem afetar o desempenho f&#237;sico&#46; Desse modo&#44; todos os atletas estavam em plenas condi&#231;&#245;es de sa&#250;de e sem les&#227;o pr&#233;via clinicamente diagnosticada nos &#250;ltimos 6 meses&#46; Vale destacar que&#44; no ano do estudo&#44; essa equipa sagrou&#8208;se campe&#227; brasileira sub17&#44; tendo&#44; inclusive&#44; alguns dos seus atletas convocados para compor a sele&#231;&#227;o nacional da categoria&#46;</p><p id="par0040" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">O presente trabalho foi aprovado pelo comit&#234; de &#233;tica da Universidade Estadual de Londrina &#40;processo 220&#47;2010&#44; CAAE registro n&#46; 0202&#46;0&#46;0268&#46;000&#8208;10&#41; e seguiu todas as normas de estudos com seres humanos&#44; conforme as recomenda&#231;&#245;es do CNS 96&#47;96 da Associa&#231;&#227;o M&#233;dica Mundial e a Declara&#231;&#227;o de Helsinki<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0400"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">11</span></a>&#46;</p></span><span id="sec0020" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect0110">Delineamento experimental</span><p id="par0045" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">A rotina desses atletas era constitu&#237;da de&#44; aproximadamente&#44; 2 horas di&#225;rias de treinamento&#44; 5 vezes por semana&#44; sempre com um jogo aos s&#225;bados&#46; As sess&#245;es de treinamento eram compostas por treino f&#237;sico &#40;2 vezes na semana&#44; 30&#8208;45<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>min&#41;&#44; treino t&#233;cnico&#8208;t&#225;tico &#40;2 vezes na semana&#44; &#8776;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>60&#8208;80<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>min&#41; e m&#233;todos de recupera&#231;&#227;o ativos &#40;uma vez na semana&#44; sess&#227;o de 30&#8208;45<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>min de alongamento e&#47;ou hidrogin&#225;stica&#41;&#46; Os atletas foram avaliados antes &#40;PR&#201;&#41; e ap&#243;s &#40;P&#211;S&#41; 2 semanas de destreinamento&#44; durante a pausa do Campeonato Paulista de 2013 que ocorreu entre a 14&#46;<span class="elsevierStyleSup">a</span> e a 15&#46;<span class="elsevierStyleSup">a</span> rodadas do campeonato &#40;i&#46;e&#46;&#59; entre os dias 13&#8208;27 de julho do referido ano&#41;&#46; Durante esse per&#237;odo os atletas foram orientados a n&#227;o realizar nenhum tipo de treinamento e n&#227;o participaram de atividades competitivas ou recreativas&#46;</p><p id="par0050" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">As seguintes avalia&#231;&#245;es foram realizadas&#58;</p><p id="par0055" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">N&#237;vel de atividade f&#237;sica &#40;AF&#41;&#58; para verificar o n&#237;vel de AF praticado durante o recesso&#44; os atletas responderam um recordat&#243;rio semanal de AF<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0405"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">12</span></a>&#46;</p><p id="par0060" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Antropometria&#58; a avalia&#231;&#227;o antropom&#233;trica foi realizada durante a primeira sess&#227;o experimental por um avaliador com experi&#234;ncia de 5 anos&#46; As medidas da massa corporal&#44; estatura e as dobras cut&#226;neas foram realizadas de acordo com a padroniza&#231;&#227;o de Lohman<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0410"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">13</span></a>&#46; O erro t&#233;cnico da medida&#44; obtido de acordo com sugest&#227;o de Perini et al&#46;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0415"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">14</span></a>&#44; foi de 5&#46;1&#37; &#40;aceit&#225;vel&#41;&#46; O coeficiente de correla&#231;&#227;o intraclasse &#40;ICC&#41; para as medidas de dobras cut&#226;neas foi de 0&#46;87&#8208;0&#46;91&#46; A densidade corporal foi estimada a partir das equa&#231;&#245;es de Faulkner<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0420"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">15</span></a> e a composi&#231;&#227;o corporal foi estimada pela equa&#231;&#227;o de Siri<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0425"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">16</span></a>&#46;</p><p id="par0065" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Avalia&#231;&#227;o neuromuscular&#58; ap&#243;s avalia&#231;&#227;o antropom&#233;trica os atletas realizaram aquecimento geral conforme o programa FIFA 11<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span><span class="elsevierStyleSup">&#43;</span><a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0430"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">17</span></a> elaborado pelo Centro de Investiga&#231;&#227;o Cient&#237;fica e de Avalia&#231;&#227;o M&#233;dica da FIFA &#40;F&#8208;MARC&#41;&#46; Esse programa &#233; constitu&#237;do de 15 exerc&#237;cios que devem ser realizados em 3 etapas progressivas&#44; assim determinadas&#58; i&#41; corrida com velocidade reduzida e combinada com alongamentos ativos&#59; ii&#41; exerc&#237;cios de for&#231;a para o centro de equil&#237;brio do corpo &#40;core&#41;&#44; para os membros inferiores e de pliometria e agilidade com 3 n&#237;veis de dificuldade crescentes&#59; e iii&#41; corrida em velocidade moderada&#47;alta combinada com movimentos de mudan&#231;a de dire&#231;&#227;o&#46; O FIFA 11<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span><span class="elsevierStyleSup">&#43;</span> tem&#8208;se mostrado apropriado para melhorar o desempenho f&#237;sico<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0435"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">18</span></a> e tamb&#233;m efetivo para preven&#231;&#227;o de les&#245;es de jovens atletas<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRefs" href="#bib0440"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">19&#44;20</span></a>&#46; Ap&#243;s o aquecimento&#44; um intervalo de recupera&#231;&#227;o de 10<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>min foi concedido aos atletas que&#44; em seguida&#44; realizaram os testes de SV e de velocidade linear&#46;</p><p id="par0070" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">A capacidade de SV foi medida por uma plataforma de contato &#40;Smartspeed System&#44; Fusion Sport&#44; Austr&#225;lia&#41;&#44; por meio da medida da altura dos saltos verticais com e sem contramovimento &#40;SVCC e SVSC&#44; respectivamente&#41;&#44; conforme recomenda&#231;&#245;es previamente descritas<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0450"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">21</span></a>&#46; O tempo de voo foi obtido a partir da equa&#231;&#227;o de Bosco et al&#46;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0450"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">21</span></a> e a pot&#234;ncia absoluta e relativa foi calculada pela equa&#231;&#227;o proposta por Sayers et al&#46;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0455"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">22</span></a>&#46;</p><p id="par0075" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Todos os atletas eram devidamente familiarizados com a execu&#231;&#227;o de ambos os tipos de saltos&#46; Cada atleta realizou 3 tentativas de cada tipo de salto &#40;i&#46;e&#46;&#59; SVSC e SVCC&#41;&#44; com intervalo de 15<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>s entre cada tentativa e 2<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>min de intervalo entre cada tipo de salto&#46; Os atletas foram instru&#237;dos a saltar o mais alto poss&#237;vel&#46; Para an&#225;lise estat&#237;stica foi considerado o melhor resultado do SVSC e do SVCC&#46; Os ICCs do SVSC e do SVCC foram de&#44; respectivamente&#44; 0&#46;97 e 0&#46;98&#46;</p><p id="par0080" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">A velocidade linear foi mensurada pelo teste de 20<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>m &#40;T&#8208;20<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>m&#41;&#46; Os atletas se posicionaram no ponto inicial e foram instru&#237;dos a realizar o percurso o mais rapidamente poss&#237;vel&#46; Cada atleta realizou 3 tentativas&#44; com um intervalo de 3<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>min entre cada tentativa&#46; O melhor resultado foi considerado para an&#225;lise&#46; O erro de medida do equipamento &#233; menor que 0&#46;03<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>s em 30<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>m<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0460"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">23</span></a>&#46; foi aplicado o modelo de an&#225;lise da infer&#234;ncia pr&#225;tica baseada em magnitudes&#46; Para c&#225;lculo da an&#225;lise da infer&#234;ncia pr&#225;tica baseada em magnitudes&#44; no caso dos dados com distribui&#231;&#227;o n&#227;o&#8208;normal&#44; ap&#243;s um per&#237;odo de 2 semanas de destreinamento&#44; atletas jovens da elite do futebol brasileiro apresentaram aumento de 6&#46;14&#37; na somat&#243;ria das dobras cut&#226;neas&#44; de 2&#46;94&#37; no &#37;GC e de 3&#46;3&#37; na massa gorda&#44; com concomitante redu&#231;&#227;o de 2&#46;24&#37; na velocidade de 5<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>m e 0&#46;97&#37; na velocidade de 20<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>m&#46;</p><p id="par0110" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">O n&#237;vel de AF durante o recesso dos jogadores ficou abaixo da recomenda&#231;&#227;o internacional para manuten&#231;&#227;o da aptid&#227;o f&#237;sica<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0485"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">28</span></a> e&#44; mesmo com a limita&#231;&#227;o do tempo total de AF a n&#227;o indicar a qualidade com que uma dada tarefa &#233; realizada&#44; ainda assim foi constatado que os atletas realmente reduziram a carga de trabalho f&#237;sico em rela&#231;&#227;o ao per&#237;odo de treinamento e assegura a possibilidade de alcan&#231;ar o objetivo do trabalho&#46;</p><p id="par0115" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Quanto &#224; composi&#231;&#227;o corporal&#44; estudos pr&#233;vios demonstraram varia&#231;&#227;o do &#37;GC entre 7&#46;6&#8208;16&#46;2&#37;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0490"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">29</span></a>&#46; Embora os valores de &#37;GC encontrados no presente estudo estivessem dentro dessa faixa&#44; variando em aproximadamente 3&#46;0&#37; entre os momentos PR&#201; e P&#211;S&#44; esses resultados foram superiores aos reportados em futebolistas profissionais da primeira divis&#227;o espanhola &#40;&#37;GC<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>&#61;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>8&#46;6<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>&#177;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>0&#46;9&#37;&#41;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0495"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">30</span></a> e tamb&#233;m em jogadores profissionais da primeira divis&#227;o da Gr&#233;cia &#40;&#37;GC<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>&#8776;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>9&#37;&#41;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0500"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">31</span></a>&#46; como&#44; por exemplo&#44; dificuldade de comparar resultados de estudos que utilizaram equa&#231;&#245;es diferentes&#59; menor precis&#227;o de estimativa em rela&#231;&#227;o &#224;s medidas indiretas e tamb&#233;m experi&#234;ncia dos avaliadores<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0515"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">34</span></a>&#44; essas limita&#231;&#245;es n&#227;o comprometeram os resultados do presente estudo j&#225; que&#44; al&#233;m do mesmo avaliador&#44; houve manuten&#231;&#227;o de todos os procedimentos entre os momentos PR&#201; e P&#211;S&#46; Desse modo&#44; o aumento significante do &#37;GC no momento P&#211;S em rela&#231;&#227;o ao PR&#201; est&#225; de acordo com um estudo anterior que descreveu aumento superior a 11&#37; no &#37;GC ap&#243;s um per&#237;odo de 6 semanas de destreinamento<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0500"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">31</span></a>&#46; Esse resultado sugere que os atletas investigados nesse estudo reduziram o disp&#234;ndio energ&#233;tico e&#47;ou aumentaram o consumo cal&#243;rico durante o per&#237;odo de destreinamento&#44; que apresentam valores m&#233;dios de SVCC pr&#243;ximos a 36<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>cm<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0550"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">41</span></a>&#46;</p><p id="par0130" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">De fato&#44; a altura do SV tem sido amplamente utilizada para avaliar a pot&#234;ncia muscular nos membros inferiores sendo para alguns autores&#44; inclusive&#44; uma ferramenta capaz de discriminar jogadores de distintos n&#237;veis competitivos<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRefs" href="#bib0505"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">32&#44;38</span></a>&#46; Contudo&#44; essa medida parece variar bastante quando se analisam estudos realizados com futebolistas de diferentes n&#237;veis competitivos ou de distintas faixas et&#225;rias&#46; Entre os fatores que podem explicar&#44; ainda que parcialmente&#44; as diferen&#231;as encontradas no SV de futebolistas destacam&#8208;se os aspectos gen&#233;ticos<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0555"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">42</span></a>&#44; o tipo&#47;estado de treinamento f&#237;sico dos atletas<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0560"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">43</span></a> e tamb&#233;m a motiva&#231;&#227;o dos jogadores para a realiza&#231;&#227;o dos testes<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRefs" href="#bib0550"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">41&#44;44</span></a>&#46; Al&#233;m desses fatores&#44; ao comparar resultados de diferentes estudos tamb&#233;m se deve considerar o protocolo de teste de SV utilizado em cada estudo<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0350"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">1</span></a>&#44; o tipo de aquecimento pr&#233;vio executado<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRefs" href="#bib0570"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">45&#44;46</span></a> e at&#233; mesmo o equipamento utilizado na mensura&#231;&#227;o da altura dos saltos<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0575"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">46</span></a>&#46; No presente estudo&#44; pelo fato de as medidas terem sido realizadas com os mesmos equipamentos e os testes terem sido executados sempre nas mesmas condi&#231;&#245;es nos momentos PR&#201; e P&#211;S&#44; parece que nenhum desses fatores influenciou negativamente as an&#225;lises&#46; Assim&#44; os achados do presente trabalho parecem n&#227;o apresentar vi&#233;s de interpreta&#231;&#227;o quanto aos fatores de confus&#227;o e trazem informa&#231;&#245;es pr&#225;ticas importantes&#44; n&#227;o somente por caracterizar a altura de saltos de jovens jogadores da elite do futebol brasileiro&#44; mas tamb&#233;m por demonstrar pela primeira vez que um per&#237;odo de destreinamento de 15 dias n&#227;o foi suficiente para promover altera&#231;&#245;es significantes no desempenho do SV &#40;p<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>&#62;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>0&#46;05&#41;&#46; Ainda assim&#44; a infer&#234;ncia qualitativa foi capaz de demonstrar um poss&#237;vel aumento no desempenho do SVSC &#40;&#37; de chance 00&#47;40&#47;60&#41;&#44; demonstrando que o rendimento nesse salto pode ser potencializado pelo destreinamento&#46; Entretanto&#44; estudos futuros devem investigar se a magnitude desses efeitos pode ou n&#227;o ser influenciada por per&#237;odos maiores ou menores de destreino&#44; tentando estabelecer um per&#237;odo &#243;timo para essas adapta&#231;&#245;es&#46;</p><p id="par0135" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">A velocidade tamb&#233;m tem sido considerada uma vari&#225;vel com capacidade de discriminar o desempenho competitivo no futebol&#44; for&#231;a e&#47;ou pot&#234;ncia<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRefs" href="#bib0380"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">7&#44;63&#8211;66</span></a>&#46; Nesse sentido&#44; seria plaus&#237;vel supor que o treinamento concorrente&#44; comumente adotado no futebol&#44; pudesse ocasionar redu&#231;&#245;es dos poss&#237;veis ganhos em vari&#225;veis de desempenho associados &#224; for&#231;a&#47;velocidade&#47;pot&#234;ncia&#46; Assim&#44; quando os altos volumes de exerc&#237;cio aer&#243;bio s&#227;o suprimidos durante o destreinamento&#44; eles podem anular as perdas do desempenho neuromuscular devido &#224; retirada do efeito concorrente do treinamento<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0680"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">67</span></a>&#46; descrevemos pela primeira vez os efeitos de 2 semanas de destreinamento na pot&#234;ncia muscular e na velocidade de jovens jogadores da elite do futebol brasileiro&#44; pois os estudos que verificaram o efeito do destreinamento em jovens jogadores de futebol reportam redu&#231;&#227;o da capacidade e pot&#234;ncia aer&#243;bica ap&#243;s 6 semanas de destreinamento<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0370"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">5</span></a> e redu&#231;&#227;o na &#225;rea de sec&#231;&#227;o transversa e da atividade enzim&#225;tica ap&#243;s 8 semanas de destreinamento<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0395"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">10</span></a>&#46; No entanto&#44; nenhum dos estudos citados avaliou pot&#234;ncia e velocidade&#44; o que impossibilita extrapola&#231;&#245;es em rela&#231;&#227;o aos achados do presente estudo&#46;</p><p id="par0145" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Sumarizando&#44; os achados do presente trabalho sugerem que&#44; apesar do aumento significante no &#37;GC de jovens futebolistas de elite&#44; 2 semanas de destreinamento n&#227;o foram suficientes para produzir redu&#231;&#245;es significantes nos desempenhos de pot&#234;ncia muscular e velocidade c&#237;clica nesses atletas&#46; Com isso&#44; mesmo com algumas limita&#231;&#245;es do presente trabalho&#44; os seus resultados trazem informa&#231;&#245;es importantes para a &#225;rea&#44; especialmente pela inclus&#227;o das an&#225;lises de TE e da infer&#234;ncia qualitativa que permitem determinar a magnitude do efeito de um determinado tratamento&#44; podendo auxiliar os profissionais do esporte na interpreta&#231;&#227;o e na aplica&#231;&#227;o desses resultados em quest&#245;es que envolvem ajustes morfofuncionais de jovens atletas ap&#243;s interven&#231;&#245;es de treinamento ou destreinamento e que s&#227;o uma realidade das categorias menores do futebol brasileiro&#46;
