    "textoCompleto" => "<span class="elsevierStyleSections"><p id="p0005" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Dear colleagues and friends&#46; Yet another year has gone by&#46; Here at the <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">Annals of Hepatology</span> we are taking a moment to look back and take note of what has been accomplished through the collaboration and joint efforts&#46;</p><p id="p0010" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">I would like to take this opportunity to share some interesting developments in the <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">Annals of Hepatology</span> over the last year&#46;</p><p id="p0015" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">First of all&#44; the number of original manuscripts increased from 3 to 5 as did the number of case reports which went from 1 to 3&#46; <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">Annals of Hepatology</span> now is included in some other scientific databases&#44; such as EMBASE and SIIC-Database Argentina&#46; Another notable achievement is that the number of U&#46;S&#46; and European authors has increased&#46;</p><p id="p0020" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">As Dr&#46; Arias said in his insightful editorial on the first five years of Hepatology&#44;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0005"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">1</span></a> we have experienced both good and bad during the early years of publishing&#59; from being named the Copernicus Index Journal of the Week to the scarcity of contributions from Latin American hepatologists&#46; At this time <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">Annals of Hepatology</span> faces the challenge of improving its quality as a useful source of information to specialists around the world&#46; We expect that by its 5<span class="elsevierStyleSup">th</span> year of publication <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">Annals of Hepatology</span> will be considered one of the important journals in this field&#46;</p><p id="p0025" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Much of this is due to the valuable support of readers and collaborators&#46; Without you&#44; <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">Annals of Hepatology</span> would not have the success it has enjoyed these past four years&#46;</p></span>"
