Aula Abierta is a scientific journal that is published every six months (January-June and July-December) which includes unpublished articles on Education, of an empirical or theoretical nature, in Spanish and English, which are relevant for education researchers or professionals, who are the readership of the journal. Over 75% of the published articles are empirical studies offering the results of original research. The rest are either descriptive pieces on innovative experiences in education or theoretical texts, and are only published in response to a previous proposal or request from the journal¿s Editorial Committee. The main objective of Aula Abierta is to contribute to the awareness of quality research in education that is being undertaken in Spain. However, the journal is also open to the occasional publication of international studies that are of special interest and which are a significant contribution to the field of education.
