En este articulo se realiza una revisión de los conceptos actuales so-bre la utilización de la vertebroplastia en el tratamiento de diferentespatologías vertebrales. Aplicando los conocimientos adquiridos duran-te los últimos años y realizando una revisión bibliográfica de todo lopublicado hasta el momento, se describen las indicaciones, la técnica ylas complicaciones de este procedimiento.
