El objetivo de este trabajo es verificar la existencia de repercusiones lingüísticas en los niños en situación de maltrato y abandono emocional, y la existencia de diferencias significativas entre ambas muestras. Este estudio forma parte de una investigación más amplia relacionada con los factores que intervienen en las diferentes situaciones de maltrato infantil. Los datos proceden de los Servicios Sociales de la ciudad de Badajoz, y con más concreción del Servicio de Protección y Atención a la Infancia. Los sujetos que forman parte de este estudio han sido objeto de actos reiterados de maltrato durante su infancia. 9 niños en situación de abandono emocional y 13 en situación de maltrato emocional, de edades comprendidas entre los 5 y 9 años, componen esta muestra.
The aim of this paper is to verify the existence of linguistic repercussions on children who are in the situation of emotional abuse and emotional abandonment, and also the existence of significant differences between both samples. This study is part of a wider research related to the factors that take part in the different situations of child abuse. The data come from Social Services in the city of Badajoz, and to be more specific from Child Protection and Care Service. The subjects in this study have suffered repeated acts of abuse during their childhood. The sample has been taken from 9 children in the situation of emotional abandonment and 13 in the situation of emotional abuse, with ages between 5 and 9.
