Se presenta un caso de lesión central donde los tres elementos que intervienen en la correcta fonación (sistema respiratorio, laringe y órganos de la resonancia y articulación) están afectados, siendo la insuficiencia velofaríngea la alteración predominante.
El propósito de este trabajo es revisar el marco teórico referente a la insuficiencia velofaríngea y profundizar en su rehabilitación. Se expone un caso de insuficiencia velofaríngea secundaria a lesión bulbar, con disfonía y alteración de la resonancia asociadas. Se hace referencia al análisis acústico y tratamiento rehabilitador.
