He had Burkkit Lymphoma at 27 years old, cured by quimiorradition and already discharged from the Heamatology Clinic, with no other remarkable antecedents.</p><p id="par0015" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The ENT physical examination was unremarkable, except for a 2<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>cm<span class="elsevierStyleSup">2</span> reddish, nontender, round, smooth and elastic mass on the right concha cymba (<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#fig0005">Fig. 1</a>).</p><elsevierMultimedia ident="fig0005"></elsevierMultimedia><p id="par0020" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">A CT scan showed absence of an infiltrative lesion with light contrast enhancement (<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#fig0005">Fig. 1</a>). Due to the uncertainty of the lesion's nature we decided for surgical excision biopsy, including the lesion and covering skin with cartilage sparing. The surgical defect was reconstructed with a postauricular skin flap (<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#fig0010">Fig. 2</a>). The frozen section histopathology exam revealed a capsulated lesion with no carcinoma involvement.</p><elsevierMultimedia ident="fig0010"></elsevierMultimedia><p id="par0025" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The definitive histologic examination of the mass revealed a follicular lymphoma with an immune-proliferative activity (Ki-67 index) of 30%. Immunoperoxidase staining of the atypical cells was positive for CD20, bcl2, bcl6, CD10 and CD23 and negative for CD3 and CD5.</p><p id="par0030" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The patient was admitted to the Haematology Clinic. Clinical staging was completed and resulted negative for other lymphoma's localization.
