The presence of a liposarcoma within a Phyllodes tumor is extremely rare. Liposarcomatous transformation of the stroma represents the second most frequent differentiation in the malignant variety of Phyllodes tumors, after fibrosarcoma. When clinically and cosmetically feasible, excision with a negative margin may be preferable to mastectomy. We report two cases of cystosarcoma phyllodes with liposarcomatous stroma.
