Level Facility Accreditation Commission, up to 2018, the number of health centers that have been accredited throughout Indonesia is 4543 out of 9825 health centers. For North Maluku Province, the number of health centers that have been accredited until 2018 is 19 out of 130 community health centre. Whereas in Ternate city, up to 2018, there were six accredited health centers out of eleven health centers.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRefs" href="#bib0075"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">1,2</span></a></p><p id="par0010" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Recognizing the importance of commitment in achieving organizational goals, every organization must strive to increase the commitment of its employees. For this purpose, various efforts can be made by the organization, including increasing job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a strong positive influence on organizational commitment. A person with high job satisfaction tends to have high organizational commitment.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0085"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">3</span></a></p><p id="par0015" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">In addition to job satisfaction, other factors that must be considered are work stress. LePine states that stress has a strong negative relationship to organizational commitment.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0085"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">3</span></a> Someone with a high level of stress tends to have low organizational commitment. In addition to influencing organizational commitment, work stress also negatively affects job satisfaction, such as the results of Law's research.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0090"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">4</span></a></p><p id="par0020" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Another thing that is not less important in the effort to achieve organizational goals is how to explore the potential of employees, so that they can obtain job satisfaction. To explore this potential, leaders must pay attention to the self-efficacy of employees. Bandura argues that someone who has high self-efficacy is goal oriented and is driven by the desire to succeed, while someone with low self-efficacy is concerned about the problem at hand so he is unable to do a good job.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0095"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">5</span></a></p><p id="par0025" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">According to previous research, suggesting that job satisfaction is positively and significantly related to commitment, self-efficacy is related to job satisfaction, and if the effect of self-efficacy and job satisfaction is combined, then get significant results on commitment.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0100"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">6</span></a></p><p id="par0030" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">At present, there have been many studies that raise the topic of organizational commitment, job satisfaction, work stress, and self-efficacy. But there is still little research that looks at the relationship between the four variables. Thus, a study is needed to determine the relationship between the four variables. This study wanted to analyze the influence of self-efficacy, work stress, and job satisfaction on employee organizational commitment.</p></span><span id="sec0010" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect0040">Method</span><span id="sec0015" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect0045">Method of collecting data</span><p id="par0035" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Data was collected using questionnaire techniques. Every employee who fulfills the criteria as a sample is asked to fill out a questionnaire that contains statements about self-efficacy, work stress, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. All variables are measured by a 6-point Likert scale, that is, strongly disagree, disagree, somewhat disagree, somewhat agree, agree, and strongly agree.</p></span><span id="sec0020" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect0050">Data analysis</span><p id="par0040" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Respondent characteristics and description of the variables studied were analyzed using SPSS for windows 17.0 software. To analyze the influence between variables used SEM analysis. SEM analysis was chosen because in addition to being able to assess the relationship of variables with its forming items, it can also assess the influence both directly and indirectly.</p></span></span><span id="sec0025" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect0055">Result</span><p id="par0045" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">(<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#tbl0005">Table 1</a>) shows the results of validity and reliability tests. Validity test is done by looking at the SLF value, the statement item is declared valid if the SLF value is >0.5. Based on <a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#tbl0015">Table 3</a>, it can be seen that all items entered into the model are declared valid. Reliability testing is done by looking at the construct reliability (CR) value and the average varied extracted (AVE) value. The variable is declared valid if the value of CR<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>><span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>0.7 and the value of AVE<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>><span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>0.5. Based on <a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#tbl0005">Table 1</a>, it can be seen that all variables are declared reliable.</p><elsevierMultimedia ident="tbl0005"></elsevierMultimedia><p id="par0050" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">After all items and variables entered into the model are declared valid and reliable, the next step is to do a goodness of fit test. This test aims to evaluate whether the model produced is a fit model. <a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#tbl0010">Table 2</a> shows the description of this research variable. Most respondents have high self-efficacy (58.2%). More than half of respondents have low job stress (50.5%). Most respondents have high job satisfaction (52.1%), and most respondents have high organizational commitment (56.2%).</p><elsevierMultimedia ident="tbl0010"></elsevierMultimedia><p id="par0055" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall"><a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#tbl0015">Table 3</a> shows the results of the analysis of influences between variables that are connected, both direct, indirect, and total influence. A variable is said to have an effect if <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">t</span>-value<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>><span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>1.96 or <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">t</span>-value<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span><<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>−1.96. Based on <a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#tbl0015">Table 3</a>, it can be seen that self-efficacy has a direct effect on work stress with <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">t</span>-value<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>=<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>−2.58. Self-efficacy has a direct effect on job satisfaction, both directly (<span class="elsevierStyleItalic">t</span>-value<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>=<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>2.46) and indirectly (<span class="elsevierStyleItalic">t</span>-value<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>=<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>2.63). Self-efficacy has a direct effect on organizational commitment (<span class="elsevierStyleItalic">t</span>-value<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>=<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>2.69). Job stress has a direct effect on job satisfaction (<span class="elsevierStyleItalic">t</span>-value<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>=<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>−7.64). Job stress does not have a direct effect on organizational commitment (<span class="elsevierStyleItalic">t</span>-value<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>=<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>0.52), but indirectly affects organizational commitment through job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a direct effect on organizational commitment with a <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">t</span>-value of 3.64.</p><elsevierMultimedia ident="tbl0015"></elsevierMultimedia><p id="par0060" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Based on <a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#tbl0020">Table 4</a>, it can be seen that out of the 11 goodness of fit (GOF) measures generally categorized as fit, there are only three measures which indicate that the estimation results are still acceptable, and one measure is categorically less fit. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the model is fit.</p><elsevierMultimedia ident="tbl0020"></elsevierMultimedia></span><span id="sec0030" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect0060">Discussion</span><p id="par0065" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">These results mean that employees who have high self-efficacy tend to have lower levels of work stress, this is because employees who have high self-efficacy are confident in their ability to perform tasks well so they can avoid potential work stress. Conversely, employees who have low self-efficacy tend to have a higher level of work stress, because they are worried about their ability to carry out the work given. The results of this study are consistent with previous studies.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRefs" href="#bib0105"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">7–9</span></a> which state that there is an effect of self-efficacy on work stress. However, it is not in accordance with Fang Mei Law's research which states that there is no significant relationship between self-efficacy and work stress.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0090"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">4</span></a></p><p id="par0070" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The results of the study on the direct effect of self-efficacy on job satisfaction found a <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">t</span>-value of 2.46, and indirect effects with a <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">t</span>-value of 2.63. This shows that there is an effect of self-efficacy on job satisfaction both directly and indirectly through work stress. These results mean that employees who have high self-efficacy tend to have a higher level of job satisfaction, this is because employees who have high self-efficacy are confident in their abilities so that they will increase satisfaction when they successfully complete their tasks. The results of this study are in line with previous studies.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRefs" href="#bib0090"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">4,7,10,11</span></a> which suggest that there is an effect of self-efficacy on job satisfaction.</p><p id="par0075" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The results of the study on the indirect effect of self-efficacy on organizational commitment obtained <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">t</span>-value of 2.69, where job satisfaction has the dominant influence in mediating the effect of self-efficacy on organizational commitment. This is in accordance with the results of the Adebomi study which suggests that self-efficacy is related to job satisfaction, and if the effect of self-efficacy and job satisfaction is combined, then get significant results on commitment.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0100"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">6</span></a> These results mean that the higher an employee's confidence in his ability to complete the job well, the higher the level of job satisfaction and the lower the desire to move to another organization. High self-efficacy employees feel that they can contribute to the organization and feel confident that what is done will get support from their colleagues and superiors. The results of this study are in line with previous studies which prove that there is a positive effect of self-efficacy on organizational commitment.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRefs" href="#bib0130"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">12,13</span></a></p><p id="par0080" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">The results of the study on the description of work stress indicate that more than half of the respondents have relatively low work stress. The results of the study on the effect of work stress on job satisfaction found <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">t</span>-value of −7.64, this indicates that work stress has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction. This means that the higher the level of stress, the lower the level of satisfaction of an employee. The results of this study are in line with previous research.<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0140"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">14</span></a></p></span><span id="sec0035" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect0065">Conclusions</span><p id="par0085" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">We conclude that self-efficacy, work stress, and job satisfaction influence organizational commitment.
