The following error has been found in the article entitled “4th Spanish Consensus Conference onHelicobacter pyloriinfection treatment” (Gastroenterol Hepatol. 2016;39(10):697–721):
In the 5th paragraph of page 711, which begins “In summary, in patients allergic to penicillin …”, in the fourth line, the word “amoxicillin” must be replaced with the word “bismuth”,
so that the sentence reads as follows:
“[…] after failure of a triple therapy (PPI, clarithromycin and metronidazole), bismuth-containing quadruple therapy should be administered (PPI, bismuth, tetracycline and metronidazole)”.
