Los pacientes que habían recibido dicho tratamiento tenían una supervivencia media (DE) de 2.078 (74) días. Además, pre-sentaban un aumento del recuento linfocitario CD4, con valores de 130 (126) ? 106/l antes del tratamiento, y de 236 (209) ? 106/l en el mo-mento de la respuesta clínica del sarcoma de Ka-posi, y una importante disminución de la carga viral, con valores de 196.818 (244.195) copias/ml antes del tratamiento y de 2.629 (6.444) copias/ml en el momento de la respuesta clínica.</p> <span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle">Conclusiones</span><p id="spar0020" class="elsevierStyleSimplePara elsevierViewall">El TARGA alarga la supervivencia de los pacientes con sarcoma de Kaposi.
