"apellidos" => "Procopio Balcedas" ] ] "afiliaciones" => array:1 [ 0 => array:2 [ "entidad" => "Hospital de Gran Canaria Dr. Negrín, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, España" "identificador" => "aff0005" ] ] ] ] "textoCompleto" => "<span class="elsevierStyleSections"><p id="par0005" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleBold">Introducción:</span> El paciente no oncológico está irrumpiendo cada vez más en las unidades de medicina paliativa, ya que necesita ayuda especializada al final de su vida.</p><p id="par0010" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleBold">Objetivos:</span> Considerar que el paciente no oncológico de diferentes patologías como clave para su control en el final de la vida.</p><p id="par0040" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleBold">Material y métodos:</span> estudio prospectivo de los pacientes no oncológicos atendidos en el resto del hospital por la unidad de medicina paliativa del Hospital Universitario donde se tuvo en cuenta el diagnóstico, el porcentaje del total de pacientes atendidos y la edad.</p><p id="par0045" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleBold">Resultados:</span><elsevierMultimedia ident="tbl0005"></elsevierMultimedia><elsevierMultimedia ident="tbl0010"></elsevierMultimedia><elsevierMultimedia ident="tbl0015"></elsevierMultimedia></p><p id="par0025" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleBold">Conclusiones:</span> El paciente no oncológico es objetivo terapéutico y juega un papel importante las unidades de medicina paliativa para su control en el final de su vida. El equipo de soporte intrahospitalario juega un papel fundamental en el paciente geriátrico al final de su vida.</p><p id="par0030" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">El trabajo conjunto entre geriatría, resto de especialidades y unidades de medicina paliativa es fundamental para controlar al paciente no oncológico avanzado.</p><p id="par0035" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">El total de pacientes controlados fueron 46, siendo la mayoría (43) el paciente geriátrico y no oncológico o pluripatológico.
