Abstract
Objective

This study to reveal the effect of guided imagery therapy toward the sleep quality of CHF patients.

Methods

This study was a quasi-experimental design using time series with control group design. The sample was 36 respondents, selected purposively. They were divided into two groups, intervention and control group, based on the exclusion and inclusion criteria.

Results

After giving three times treatments of guided imagery therapy, there is a significant in increasing the sleep quality of CHF patients (p=0.001) in the intervention group. Meanwhile, there is no significance of the sleep quality increasing in the control group (p=0.099).

Conclusion

Guided imagery therapy can increase the sleep quality of CHF patients.
