Los cordomas se originan a partir de restos de la notocorda, pudien-do aparecer en cualquier localización desde el clivus hasta el sacro yconstituyen el 3-4% de los tumores óseos primarios.

Presentamos un caso de cordoma cervical a la altura de C2 en unvarón de 45 años, constituyendo la localización vertebral menos fre-cuente en la bibliografía.

Aportamos los hallazgos radiológicos en TC y RM cervical.

Chordomas, lesions that develop from notochordal remnants, canarise at any site ranging from the clivus to the sacrum; they represent3% to 4% of all primary bone tumors.

We present the case of a 45yearold man with cervical chordoma atthe C2 level, the site least frequently reported in the literature.

We provide the radiological findings resulting from cervical computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging.
