El artículo expone los principios básicos del análisis del corpus del lenguaje espontáneo: segmentación en enunciados, informatización, técnicas de análisis y de control de fiabilidad de los índices, indicaciones normativas. En concreto, se nos presentan diversas medidas puntuales como los índices de diversidad léxica (IDL) y los de longitud media de producción verbal (LMPV) o de enunciado (LME). Se discuten su validez y su valor predictivo, así como la cantidad del lenguaje necesaria para obtener indicaciones fiables. Aparte de los índices puntuales, se contemplan una serie de herramientas analíticas que permiten superar ciertas limitaciones de los índices puntuales. Se trata de la integración longitud-complejidad, del dispositivo del análisis lingüístico, del análisis del desarrollo de la frase (DSA-Developmental Sentence Analysis), de la valoración del lenguaje y procedimiento de selección de soluciones (LARSP-Language Assessment and Remediation Screening Procedure), de la etapa de asignación estructural (ASS-Assigning Structural Stage), del índice de sintaxis productiva (IPS), y del dispositivo de análisis funcional del lingüista Halliday. Por último, se discute el problema de la interpretación clínica de los datos facilitados por los análisis del corpus y se afirma la complementariedad de estas técnicas con los tests formales de lenguaje.
The article explains the basic principals of the analysis of the corpus of spontaneous language: segmentation in enunciations, computerisation, techniques for analysis and control of the reliability of the indexes, guideline standards. In particular, different specific measures are explained, such as the lexical diversity indexes (IDL) and the average length of the verbal production index (LMPV) or of the enunciation (LME). Their validity and their predictive value are discussed as well as the amount of language necessary to obtain reliable guidelines. In addition to the specific indexes, a series of analytical tools are considered, that allow certain limitations of the specific indexes to be overcome. These are the length - complexity integration of the linguistic analysis device, of the Developmental Sentence Analysis (DSA), of the Language Assessment and Remediation Screening Procedure (LARSP), of the Assigning Structural Stage (ASS), of the Productive Syntax Index (IPS), and the functional analysis device developed by the linguist called Halliday. Finally, the problem concerning the clinical interpretation of the data provided by the analysis of the corpus is discussed and the complementarity of these techniques with the formal language test is confirmed.
