Este artículo pretende ofrecer información clara y concisa sobre el síndrome de Usher, tanto a padres afectados como a profesionales, con el objetivo de conseguir entre todos un diagnóstico precoz que minimice los efectos del síndrome –a través de una intervención educativa temprana y eficaz– y garantice una mayor calidad de vida a todos los afectados desde la misma infancia. This article intend to provide brief and clear information on the Usher Syndrome specially addressed to people with Usher Syndrome, to their relatives and to professionals working in the fields of deafness, blindness and deafblindness. The aim is to get an early detection of the Syndrome which minimize its effects and ensure a greater quality of life to every affected person from his/her earlier childhood.
