Resumen

Este artículo recoge los primeros veinte términos que forman parte del vocabulario de dos niñas sordas (ya sea vocabulario oral, signos caseros o lenguaje de signos) educadas en diferente contexto lingüístico.

Se observan diferencias entre ambas, teniendo en cuenta el contexto lingüístico familiar (oral o signado), lo cual pone de manifiesto la importancia del lenguaje de signos como mediación semiótica del sordo, para favorecer el acceso al conocimiento y al lenguaje.

Abstract

This paper collects the first twenty terms which make up the vocabulary of two deaf children (we talk about oral vocabulary, home signs or sing language) who have been educated in different linguistic contexts.

We observe differences between them, if we bear in mind the familiar linguistic context (oral or signed), and these differences show the importance of sign language as semiotic mediation of the deaf in order to favour the access to knowledge and language.
