Resumen

Hemos realizado una revisión bibliográfica de lasobras más representativas de la otología del final del siglo XVIII y principios del siglo XIX. Se plantean diferentes hipótesis sobre el diagnóstico y el tratamiento de la sordera de Francisco de Goya en base a los avances otológicos de su época

Abstract

We have made a bibliographyc review of the most important otology books from the end of the XVIII to the begining of the XIX century. We propose several hypothesis of the diagnoses and treatment of Goya´s deafness in relation to the contemporary otological advances
